Learning Japanese is fun, interesting and also very challenging for me. I want to learn the basics because I know, as an English teacher for Japanese, it would be a great help for my students, specially to those who are beginners if I can speak even a little Nihonggo. “Dameyo Dame Dame” is not new to me. I have used this phrase in my previous classes and it’s fun whenever I and my students talk about recent popular expressions in Japan. Youkai watch or ghost watch and ari no mamade, the Japanese title of the song Let It Go were also picked from a list of 50 words and phrases submitted last year.
